Cycling Note
Cycling is perhaps the best form of complementary exercises for the sport of mountaineering. It represents an highly effective cardiovascular exercise, helping to significantly improves VO2 max at a higher altitude, further enhancing high altitude performance. In fact through routine power based interval training, preferably at altitudes higher than 2000m, high altitude climbing performance (+4000m) can be improved as much as 35%.
