Chiropractic Clinical Competency Academic Program

Content Overview:

Duration of program is determined by the AAAC-CLB following personal interview and evaluation.

Program must be completed under supervision of Designated Doctors appointed by the AAAC-CLB.

Program includes:

  • Patient history taking (under Direct supervision of the Designated Doctor).

  • Perform physical examination procedures including, Internal Medicine, Cardiopulmonary, ENT, Ophthalmic, Orthopedic and Neurological assessment (under direct supervision of the Designated Doctor) (OBGYN Examinations are excluded).

  •  Review patients medical files including: Imaging, Stress Studies, Advanced Imaging (MR, CT, BMD, Bone Sans with & without contrast) Laboratory Studies, Electro-diagnostic and related studies (under direct supervision of the Designated Doctors).

The Designated Doctor must provide a comprehensive written evaluation of the applicant directly (privately) to the AAAC-CLB chair within 10 days of the completion of the program.
