CCCPG Announcement on Designated and Recommended Doctors of Chiropractic
Dear Colleagues
The Commission on Chiropractic Clinical Practice Guidelines (CCCPG) plans to announce the selected categories of Doctors of Chiropractic by Nov 05, 2023.
Categories include:
- Designated – Doctors of Chiropractic
- Recommended – Doctors of Chiropractic
A written request including a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae must be received by the CCCPG no later than Oct 05, 2023. Selective categories will be updated annually.
Designated Doctor of Chiropractic Category Requirements:
- Valid license issued by the Academic Assessment and Accreditation Commission – Chiropractic Licensing Board (AAAC-CLB), in good standing.
- Active membership with the Iranian Medical Council (IMC), in good standing.
- Active membership with the Iranian Chiropractic Association (IRCA), in good standing.
- Minimum of five years of full time practice.
- Minimum of 125 continued education credit units, during the past five years.
- Active membership with one of the academic committees of the IRCA.
- Active participation in minimum of ten conferences, research projects, clinical studies, articles, or case report presentations within the past five years.
- Active evidence-based clinical practice certification from the CCCPG.
- Personal interview – clinical & academic assessment.
Recommended Doctor of Chiropractic Category Requirements:
- Valid license issued by the Academic Assessment and Accreditation Commission – Chiropractic Licensing Board (AAAC-CLB), in good standing.
- Active membership with the Iranian Medical Council (IMC), in good standing.
- Active membership with the Iranian Chiropractic Association (IRCA), in good standing.
- Minimum of 25 continued education credits annually.
- Active evidence-based clinical practice certification from the CCCPG
